Work should fit people—not force people to fit the tool. Taskforge is an online student hackathon for practical projects that make planning, focus, communication, and everyday work easier to manage.

Build a small, working prototype for one real friction point: an overwhelming task list, an inaccessible workflow, a confusing handoff, a hard-to-follow routine, or a tool that leaves someone behind. Start with one person’s experience, then show the difference your project creates.

Forge something useful: a calmer workflow, a clearer next step, or a more accessible way to get things done.

Requirements

Choose a user. Name one productivity or access barrier. Show a meaningful change.

Create an original working prototype that improves how someone plans, focuses, communicates, or completes a task. Submit a complete Devpost project page with your project story, all team members, a demo or walkthrough, and code or clear build instructions.

Explain the problem, intended user, solution, tools, limitations, and what you learned. Use examples you have permission to share and identify any pre-existing work or AI assistance.
